Hi Molly
Have long been a fan of open city group and am hoping to visit when in Chile in December. I am looking at them as part of my PhD about improvised building as gardening.
Wonder if you have a contact with them i could interview?
I hope you read your site more than I read mine..
Cheers

I studied once at Recreo hill, where the school of Architecture, also taller of America let me understand the principles that govern the faculty, it was so rewarding to be part of that amaizing process, to walk in the dounes by the beach of the open city reminder of the philosopical principles of the Greek polis. I can denied the mark this experience let in my life.
Amereida id pure art, pure geniusity and creativity, when I think of Amereida of Ritoque I can't avoid to think in two teachers, the master mind as per me, Alberto Cruz, and Juan Purcell my class teacher

i wonder why they should be anti-landscaping? actually, i don't know, is the relationship between architects and landscape architects usually antagonistic? and are they really trying to be sculptors, when these architects decide to ignore planning, sectionality, elevation and so on? do they want the spaces they build to be lived in or liveable? it sounds like a fun project, but i wonder why it should be far away from observation, only semi-open to the public, and so opposed to being rooted in practical considerations? ok, for the purposes of art... but doesn't architecture have to be somewhere in between art and engineering?
